Principal's Welcome Message
It is with immense joy and pride that I extend a warm welcome to all students, parents, faculty, staff, and community members to our vibrant learning community. We are a UTK through 5th grade LAUSD school located in Torrance, CA. At Halldale Ave. Elementary School, we believe in nurturing not just the intellect, but also the character, individuality, and the social well-being of each student.
We are a California Distinguished School with a dedicated staff who have an unwavering commitment to academic excellence. We strive to provide a dynamic and rigorous learning environment that empowers students to explore, discover, and grow. Our dedicated team of educators is not only focused on delivering curriculum but on fostering a love for learning that will stay with our students throughout their lives.
In addition to our outstanding academic program, we also offer a thriving arts program for our students (visual art, dance, music, theatre). We also provide extended learning and exploration opportunities through field trips to various locations and through partnerships with organizations such as Musical Miracles, Space STEM Program, and VEX IQ Robotics.
At Halldale Ave. we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment. We value diversity and treat each student as a unique individual, nurturing their strengths and providing them with the necessary guidance to overcome challenges. For students that need additional academic support, we provide intervention services during the school day, afterschool or through our Saturday academy. We also offer individual and group counseling for students that need additional social emotional support and guidance.
We believe in open communication between parents, teachers, and students ensuring a strong partnership that nurtures success.

Es con inmensa alegría y orgullo que doy una bienvenida a todos los estudiantes, padres, maestros, personal y miembros de la comunidad a nuestra vibrante comunidad de aprendizaje. Somos una escuela del LAUSD de UTK a 5.° grado ubicada en Torrance, CA. En la Escuela Primaria Halldale Ave., creemos en alimentar no solo el intelecto, sino también el carácter, la individualidad y el bienestar social de cada estudiante.
Somos una Escuela Distinguida de California con un personal dedicado que tiene un compromiso inquebrantable con la excelencia académica. Nos esforzamos por proporcionar un entorno de aprendizaje dinámico y riguroso que permita a los estudiantes explorar, descubrir y crecer. Nuestro dedicado equipo de educadores no solo se enfoca en ofrecer un plan de estudios, sino también en fomentar un amor por el aprendizaje que permanecerá con nuestros estudiantes durante toda su vida.

Ito ay may napakalaking kagalakan at pagmamalaki na ipinaabot ko ang isang mainit na pagtanggap sa lahat ng mga mag-aaral, magulang, guro, kawani, at mga miyembro ng komunidad sa aming masiglang komunidad ng pag-aaral. Kami ay isang UTK hanggang ika-5 baitang LAUSD na paaralan na matatagpuan sa Torrance, CA. Sa Halldale Ave. Elementary School, naniniwala kami sa pag-aalaga hindi lamang sa talino, kundi pati na rin sa karakter, indibidwalidad, at panlipunang kagalingan ng bawat mag-aaral.
Kami ay isang California Distinguished School na may dedikadong kawani na may hindi natitinag na pangako sa akademikong kahusayan. Nagsusumikap kaming magbigay ng isang dinamiko at mahigpit na kapaligiran sa pag-aaral na nagbibigay-kapangyarihan sa mga mag-aaral na tuklasin, tumuklas, at lumago. Ang aming nakatuong pangkat ng mga tagapagturo ay hindi lamang nakatuon sa paghahatid ng kurikulum ngunit sa pagpapaunlad ng pagmamahal sa pag-aaral na mananatili sa aming mga mag-aaral sa buong buhay nila.
Bilang karagdagan sa aming namumukod-tanging programang pang-akademiko, nag-aalok din kami ng isang umuunlad na programa sa sining para sa aming mga mag-aaral (sining biswal, sayaw, musika, teatro). Nagbibigay din kami ng pinalawig na mga pagkakataon sa pag-aaral at paggalugad sa pamamagitan ng mga field trip sa iba't ibang lokasyon at sa pamamagitan ng pakikipagtulungan sa mga organisasyon tulad ng Musical Miracles, Space STEM Program, at VEX IQ Robotics.
Sa Halldale Ave. kami ay nakatuon sa paglikha ng isang ligtas, kasama, at sumusuportang kapaligiran. Pinahahalagahan namin ang pagkakaiba-iba at tinatrato namin ang bawat mag-aaral bilang isang natatanging indibidwal, pinangangalagaan ang kanilang mga lakas at binibigyan sila ng kinakailangang patnubay upang malampasan ang mga hamon.
