Classroom Party Policy  

      Dear Parents, 
               At Halldale, we believe that celebrating birthdays with your class is a very meaningful memory that will last a lifetime for your child.  However, we do not want to take valuable instructional time away from your child having elaborate and lengthy parties.
 
Guidelines:

1. Celebrations will only be held during your child's recess, lunch, or the last 15 minutes of the day. 
2. Must have approval from the classroom teacher 5 days in advance. 
3. KEEP IT SIMPLE!!!!!
        A.  Should be limited to about 15 minutes.
        B.  Quick and small treats are the best (cupcakes, small goodie bags, packaged fruit gummies)
4. Food must be store bought.
5. Please sign in at the office. 

     GREAT ALTERNATIVES TO CELEBRATING OF BIRTHDAY 

    Instead of a birthday treats, you can donate a book to the school library or classroom library in honor of your child's birthday with a dedication written in it.  This book can be read by the students in his/her class and will be a special way for his/her birthday to be remembered long after the birthday has passed.

               En Halldale, crecmos que celebrar el cumpleaños con la clase es muy significativo y que su hijo/a lo recordará siempre. Sin embargo, no queremos que la celebración tome el valioso tiempo de instrucción de su niño/a, haciéndola muy larga y detallada. 

Guias A Seguir:

1. Las celebraciones SOLO serán durante el recereo, el lunch ó 15 minutos antes de la hora de salida. 
2. La maestra debe aprobarla con 5 días de anticipación. 
3. Que se fácil!!!!!
        A.  Debe limitarse a 15 minutos.
        B.  Rápidos y pequenos obsequios es lo mejor (cupcakes, bolsa chica con dulces, paquetes de dulces)
4. La comida debe ser comprada en la tienda.
5. Por favor, pase a firmar en la oficina. 

     GRAN ALTERNATIVA PARA CELEBRAR LOS CUMPLEAÑOS 

    En vez de celebrar el cumpleaños en el salon, UD.  puede donar libro a la biblioteca ó al salón en honor del cumpleanos de su hijo/a.
Con una dedicatoria escrita en el libro, éste libro lo pueden leer los estudiantes de su clase y ese una manera muy espercial de que su cumpleaños sea recordado después mucho tiempo.
